What are the strengths of CT and MRI, respectively, for this application?

CT is more useful for defining cortical penetration and the matrix and for performing guided biopsy. CT of the chest is also used for detecting pulmonary metastasis.
MRI is better for staging and determining tumor margins and for detecting skip lesions.
