What is the diagnostic approach to the patient with a suspected telangiectatic osteosarcoma?

The diagnosis is typically made by plain film radiography. Cross-sectional imaging (i.e., CT, MRI) is used to determine the extent of tumor spread within the bone marrow and adjacent soft tissues and to detect skip lesions (stage the lesion).
