What is the phantom or vanishing tumor sign (pseudotumor)?

An interlobar effusion, seen in patients with CHF, that mimics a parenchymal tumor but disappears as cardiac status improves; most often seen in the minor fissure and can recur in the same area with subsequent episodes of heart failure
