What is the Weigert-Meyer rule?
In ureteral duplication, the upper moiety obstructs, causing a mass effect on the lower moiety (i.e., the drooping lily sign on IVP). The lower moiety is prone to reflux. The upper moiety may not be seen on IVP because it is obstructed (A). B shows the appearance of both right ureters.
