What are the bone scan findings associated with RSD?

Classically, diffusely increased activity in an extremity is seen in all three phases. Several months after the onset of symptoms, blood flow and blood pool return to normal, with only increased late-phase activity. More than 1 year after the onset of symptoms, the delayed phase may show normal or even decreased activity.
