What is the best plain film view for assessing the morphology of the acromion?

A supraspinatus (scapular outlet) view provides an excellent image of the morphology of the acromion and acromioclavicular joint. This lateral scapula film is taken with the x-ray tube angled inferiorly at 10 degrees.
