Describe a Dupuytren's fracture
Unstable distal fibula fracture characterized by disruption of the structural ring; two variants in fracture pattern are possible:
High variant: fracture 2 to 7 cm above the distal end of the fibula with disruption of the tibiofibular syndesmosis and deltoid ligaments
Low variant: fracture distal to an intact tibiofibular ligament but with disrupted deltoid ligament
