What are the indications for retrograde pyelography?

It is used when the information cannot be obtained by less invasive means (e.g., CT IVP, MRI, IVP, ultrasound). It also gives excellent resolution of the mucosal surfaces of the urothelium and dynamic information regarding flow and distensibility (e.g., with strictures).
