Focal or diffuse thickening of the junctional zone to more than 12 mm
High-intensity foci in the junctional zone on T1-weighted images and low or high signal intensity on T2-weighted images, indicative of blood products (salt and pepper appearance)
Areas of increased T2 punctate signal Boundary of adenomyosis and myometrium possibly lobulated or spiculated
