How is the furosemide renogram performed?

The standard procedure for dynamic imaging is followed. Static images are inspected after approximately 30 minutes, and if there is still significant activity within the collecting system, furosemide is administered intravenously and static images are obtained for approximately 30 minutes following the injection.
