How is the renal scan performed in this setting?

10 to 20 mCi of Tc-99m MAG3 is injected intravenously. Images are obtained anteriorly over the pelvis in a manner identical to that of standard renal dynamic imaging. Delayed images are obtained approximately 2 hours post injection if a urine leak is a clinical consideration.
