How is the standard dynamic renal study performed?

Approximately 10 to 20 mCi of Tc-99m MAG3 or Tc-99m DTPA, is administered intravenously, and images are obtained posteriorly. Blood flow phase images are obtained with 1-second frames for 60 to 90 seconds, and static images are obtained every 5 minutes for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
