How do the treatments of types A and B aortic dissection differ?

Type A is most often treated surgically(owing to the high risk of aortic insufficiency, cardiac tamponade, stroke, or rupture)​
Type B is treated medically (i.e., by managing hypertension) unless the patient develops complications.
