Symptoms include shortness of breath, edema, paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea, orthopnea (as a result of pulmonary congestion), and fatigue (as a result of a low-output state).
CXR findings include cardiomegaly and signs of left ventricular failure; right ventricular failure may also be present.
