Is examination of the fetus by ultrasound technically easier during the second trimester or at full term?

During the second trimester, for these reasons:
The higher volume of amniotic fluid relative to the size of the fetus allows for better visualization and for fetal movement.
It is possible to image the entire fetus.
The bones are less calcified and therefore cause less shadowing.
