What is a CT IVP?

A comprehensive evaluation for patients with hematuria. In general, an unenhanced CT scan is performed through the top of kidneys to the bladder base to look for stones, followed by enhanced images through the kidneys to identify renal masses, followed by excretory imaging of the kidneys, ureters, and bladder to look for urothelial lesions.
