How does one find the adrenals on MRI or CT scan?

Look just superior to the kidneys. The right adrenal is posteromedial to the right lobe of the liver, posterior to the IVC, and lateral to the right crus of the diaphragm. The left adrenal is lateral to the aorta and left crus of the diaphragm and posterior to the splenic vessels at the cephalad aspect.
