After systole, does the mitral valve open before or after the aortic valve closes?

The following figure demonstrates the motion of the aortic and mitral valve leaflets, correlated with the ECG. The mitral valve opens (like the University of Virginia wah-hoo-wah cheer) after the aortic valve closes in diastole.
The E wave represents early diastolic filling of the left ventricle (the y-descent on a left atrial pressure tracing). The A wave reflects atrial contraction. The F point is the nadir between the E and A waves.
